Matt Frye is also a new assistant athletic director and coach who joined the Lincoln staff this year.

“I’m the assistant athletic director. I also coach varsity football and freshmen boys basketball,” says Frye.

Frye enjoys the planning part of his job as an assistant athletic director.

“Oddly enough, the logistics aspect of organizing things on the back end is my favorite part of the job,” said Frye.

Frye is a longtime football coach, a job that has taken up one third of his life. 

“I’ve been coaching football for 10 years and I’m only 31-years-old,” said Frye.
