The Cardinals lost 4-1 to the Franklin Quakers Oct. 7 at Marshall. Lincoln  found itself behind early after back-to-back Franklin goals in the first half. “We didn’t put in the amount of effort that we needed to win,” said defender Joe McCartan.

Freshman Hoyoung Sohn scored the lone goal for the Cardinals. “We played a much better second half.
