“Despicable Me 4,” directed by Chris Renaud and Patrick Delage is the latest installment in a family friendly animated movie series people of any age can enjoy.
In “Despicable Me 4″ the unforgettable original characters Gru, Margo, Edith, Agnes and Lucy combined with today’s advanced animation to make it a top watch. What I love most is that the movie is lighthearted and funny. The comedic minion movie is currently streaming on Amazon Prime, Apple TV, and it’s soon to be seen on Netflix.
Gru, a former supervillain and current AVL agent, is the series’ protagonist. His drive and passion to become the world’s greatest supervillain is unmatched. He cares deeply for his three adopted daughters Margo, Edith, and Agnes, as well as Gru junior, his biological son. the husband of Lucy Wilde, also an AVL agent,
As Gru welcomes his son into the family, their peaceful life comes plummeting down when criminal mastermind Maxime Le Mal escapes prison and swears revenge against Gru. The family is forced to go on the run and change identities, hoping to escape for the time being, let the conflict run its course and bring Maxime to his ultimate demise.
If you like movies like “Megamind,” “Hotel Transylvania,” and “The Addams Family,” “Despicable Me 4” would be a good option for you. The easy going elements and character charm drew me in. It’s evident that the graphics and animation are vibrant and high quality, making it really visually engaging, and the voice actors did well with getting into each character, making it easy to understand the movie scene by scene.
I really liked the chaos the minions bring to the movie. Their infectious energy fueled the humor in every scene. I also liked how to keep the stories are fresh, with the directors adding twists and turns with every release.
Born into a villain’s world, the yellow henchman serves Gru throughout the series. Gru’s daughters grow up more and more with each movie revealing their developing personalities adding depth to the story.
I appreciate how clever each setting is for whatever scene is taking place and I love how precise the details are. It’s a great movie and a strong series I would suggest to anyone.
