Gallery: Going test-optional proves beneficial for students

After hundreds of colleges eased testing requirements in the summer of 2020, admissions based on standardized tests became an unexpected casualty of the pandemic.

In the midst of the Covid-19 crisis, many colleges have adjusted their admissions policies to reflect a more flexible process. 

For students, test-optional means that a single score won’t be the defining factor in their application.
