Hello, everybody, and welcome to the nonchalant podcast. My name is Gabe Rosenfield, and I will be your host through this amazing, inspirational, beautiful experience that you will be going through a mall listening to each of these episodes. I’m going to start us off by just taking a break for some mindfulness. So if you would take a deep breath and count 10 and then we will resume the episode. So I’ll do with you guys.
All right, well, now that we’re in a better mindspace, I think we can start it off with the epic inspiring quote of the week. So open up your ears and open up your mind.
You see a person’s true colors when you are no longer beneficial to their life.
So I picked that quote, because I think it might resonate with a lot of us in this current stage. Being that a lot of us are feeling very isolated from people that we used to call our friends given the current situation with Coronavirus. And I’ve definitely had been in a position where, you know, I’ve kind of stopped talking to certain people have noticed that I’m not super important in their life. And then maybe I was only a friend with them at school.
But anyways, moving on from that really deep, inspirational quote, I personally have been getting pretty bored with the snack options that I have at home. And I know that kind of sounds like an issue of laziness that I could just go to the store and buy different snacks. But instead I took the approach of combining snacks to create even better snacks. So my five minute meal invention of the week was to put crushed up Hot Cheetos in some Kraft mac and cheese, which is a classic. throwing some hot sauce in a pickle. I wouldn’t give it a seven out of 10. But yeah, let me know what you think if anyone tries that one out.
Moving on to the artist of the week, this is just someone that I’ve been jamming to a lot recently. It is blue Iverson blue ever seen is a side project of the artist, Dean blunt. And, yeah, very cool album. Everyone should go check it out, was released in 2017. And that’s what I’ve been listening to a lot recently.
And I’m just gonna do a little brain dump. Just to end out this this episode. And I’m going to do this at the end of every week, and just kind of talk about what’s on my mind at this current moment. And I would say I really do want to like cats. I’ve always been like pretty afraid of cats, and slightly allergic to some. Um, but I think I have been like putting in an effort this past year to be less afraid of cat’s eye. But I think the thing that’s kind of holding me back from like, not freaking out around them is just like the whole retractable claws situation is very intimidating to me. And the fact that at any given moment, they could just shoot their claws into my leg is pretty, like terrifying.
Um, yeah, and that’s just I don’t know, that’s what’s on my mind this evening. So I thought I would just share it with you guys. Um, but yeah, that was the nonchalant podcast. And yeah, my name is Gabe Rosenfield. Thanks for listening
