Seniors Exit to the ‘Real World’

The Class of 2014 entered Memorial Coliseum June 9 to the traditional sounds of “Pomp and Circumstance” and exited two hours later, diplomas in hand, to the the strains of bagpipe music. In between, honors were awarded for scholarship and service, speeches were delivered by four adults and one student, the choir sang, and the crowd of over 2000 parents, friends, alums, and seniors rocked to the tunes of the concert band. Following the ceremonies, the graduates boarded buses for an all-night party in Vancouver that came complete with activities ranging from a mechanical bull and a corkscrew swimming slide to laser tag and henna tattoos. The annual after-graduation party was hosted by senior parents.
