Students show school spirit with a blast from the past
Uggs, Juicy jackets, and even fedoras made their way back into the hallways on Oct. 21 as the students sported their look for Throwback Tuesday, the second day of Spirit Week leading up to homecoming.
Students dressed up as their former middle or elementary school selves while others chose to style their look from different decades, popularly ’80s jazzercise.
Though not as widely dressed up for as Tacky Tourist Day, Throwback Tuesday gave students a chance to wear their favorite clothes that had outgrown them or gone out of style. “I was embarrassed walking to school this morning because people on the street who didn’t know it was Spirit Week were giving me funny looks,” senior Allie Field said.
Others embraced the return of their old clothes. “I missed wearing my Uggs to school,”junior Quinn Andersen said. “They’re so comfortable. I wish Throwback Day was every day,”
