Lincoln defeated Grant 5-3  Wednesday at Washington Park. Wins for both the Cardinals and the Generals, who defeated Lincoln earlier in the season, will result in the teams going into district competition May 11 in a complete deadlock.

Matches against Franklin, Roosevelt, and Wilson were all 8-0 victories for the Cardinals. The boys were scheduled to play Benson May 7 at Washington Park.
