Freshman boys flatten Cleveland, JVs win, varsity falls short

UPDATE: Both varsity teams play at Grant Friday, Jan. 23. The boys are tied for the lead with Jefferson at 5-1 in the PIL standings, and the girls are second behind Grant (7-0) with a 6-0 record.

Isaac Baker led the freshmen to a 56-23 victory with 12 points. Andy Leibovich added another 9 points, and Eamonn Connor had 8 points.

The JV game was closer, with Lincoln beating Cleveland 50-46. Four players led the Cardinals in scoring, with Bryce Sloan, Joey Morones, Andrew Plambeck, and Rasheed Butler shooting 10 points each.

It was an off night for the previously undefeated varsity boys (6-0), with Cleveland (2-3) taking the lead from the beginning and winning 66-48. Trent Collins scored 15 points, and Jonah Pemberton had 11.
