Girls break out for first win in pre-season
Senior guard Abby Eakin charges to the basket against a Sunset opponent as sophomore Gracie Summers moves in for support. The girls lost 67-50 but came back two days later to beat Central, from Independence, 69-45.
Fourth time was a charm as the varsity girls broke a three-game losing streak by beating visiting Central of Independence 69-45 Dec. 16
They host the Aloha Warriors from the Metro League Dec. 19. Previously, the Cards lost to Sunset 67-50, Tahoma (WA) 37-36, and Sheldon 65-57.
