The varsity football team finished its second-to-last game of the regular season with a 40-20 homecoming win against Jefferson Oct. 24. One of the highlights of the game was when senior Ben Hoge ran to the end zone for a 13-yard touchdown. The win increases Lincoln’s playoff hopes as the Cardinals are now #2 in the PIL with a 4-1 league record. The team’s next game will be held at Wilson Oct. 31. Halftime activities at the game included introduction of the homecoming court and entertainment by the marching band.
