Speech and Debate off to strong start
Nothing stopped the Speech and Debate team from scoring with a multitude of successes at the Sam Barlow tournament on Oct. 4. Twenty-two students showed up at Lincoln at 6:30 a.m. on a cold Saturday before the sun came up and carpooled to the competition which started at 8:00 am. By the time the team returned home, nearly 14 hours later, all the stress of the day gave way to impressive results. Nearly every competitor ranked Top 10 in one event.
