Baseball Star Mickey Lolich Returns to Lincoln

1968 World Series champion, 1968 World Series MVP, and three-time all star Mickey Lolich attended the annual May Fete Assembly on May 30. Lolich, who graduated from Lincoln in 1958, pitched for the Detroit Tigers for eight years, and 16 years total in the Majors. He led the Tigers to a World Series championship in 1968, pitching three out of the seven games in the series.
