UPDATE: The Cardinals lost to Barlow 10-0 on May 28.

The varsity softball team advanced to the second round of playoffs after defeating Tigard 7-5 May 26 at Erv Lind Stadium.

Lincoln scored five runs in the first inning of the game, with a two-out, bases-clearing double from junior Jordan Coleman followed by a home run by junior Belle Odenthal.

The Cardinals will play 4th-ranked Barlow  on Wednesday at Barlow. Start time is yet to be determined.
