Students Prepare for Prom

Prom will be held at The Wonder Ballroom with the theme of “A Midsummer’s Night Dream” on April 26, from 8 p.m to 11 p.m. “I’m sure some students spent some time looking for their outfit,” junior Ben Michalisko said. “I spent about a month-and-a-half looking for a dress that I could use,” junior Victoria Sanchez said.

“I’m really excited to go to prom, it will be my first time,” junior David Seung said. “I got my tux from Mr.Formal since they have a sale for students.” To receive a free tux, students had to get five referrals from others that were looking to buy a tux.

The prom tickets cost $25 per person and will be available to purchase in the main hall. “I don’t feel like spending the money to go,” junior Jacob Diamond said. “It just doesn’t seem that important junior year and there are other ways I can hang out with friends.”

Even though less than half of the school goes to prom, a fraction of the student body still attends for their enjoyment. “I’m going to prom to have fun with friends,” junior Evan Haning said. “Hopefully we will have a great time.”
