Reporters note* Lots of students’ parents, or grandparents, are Lincoln alumni, and my mom Anna Davis is a proud alumna.

Greg Leo (1966-1970)
Favorite memory: “Writing for the Cardinal Times as News Editor, and writing a column in the spring of my senior year, “Leo’s Lair.”
Favorite Teacher: Mr. Bailey
Advice: “ You have to learn to think for yourself and question all assumptions. Do not take any facts at face value. Use critical thinking skills to make up your own mind.”

Mellony Bernal (1982-1986)
Key skills learned at Lincoln: “Lincoln taught me how to question courageously, think with insight and write with clarity.”
Favorite Teacher: Mr Richmond
Favorite Memory: “Playing softball.”
Advice: “Stay true to yourself.”
Anna Davis (1987-1991)
Key skills learned at Lincoln: ”I learned how to stand up and give speeches. A lot of people never learn that, or never get the chance to conquer their fears of that. I’ve used that skill in my professional and personal life regularly.”
Favorite Memory: “Con Team 1988-89”
Advice: “Join clubs and try new things — that’s the best way to find out about yourself.”

Chris Jackson: (2022-2026)
Advice: “Don’t be scared to put yourself out there. Go to a spirit assembly and shoot a shot from half court. That’s what I did. That’s how I kind og first got myself out there. Have fun, don’t be scared to make mistakes, and let yourself be you. Don’t let anyone else influence that.”
Favorite Teacher: Ms. Klein Wolf
Staying connected: “Just getting involved, helping out where I can, if the school needs something, coming to help out. Even though I’ll be across the country (at college), I’ll come back out, help promote on Instagram if I can.”
