**Ms. Eisenberg and Chef Hammerickson**
**What is special and unique about your friendship?**
Chef said, “We both have two sons who are close to the same age, so we have a lot to talk about.” Eisenberg added, “It’s hard being a working mom, and so I think we are very supportive of each other because that’s a very unique bond.” Chef also shared, “I’m a new mom. I just adopted two kids, so she’s helped a lot with that transition.”
**What do you admire most about the other person?**
Chef said she admires “what a good teacher she is and how much she loves her students, and how much time and effort she puts into her lessons. Sometimes she overthinks things, but I think that’s good. That means she cares.” Eisenberg said, “I appreciate Chef’s empathy for others, both in her class but also in the community. I think having a strong community really means a lot to Chef, and that is very inspiring to see and to be part of.”
**What is a hobby you share or something that you like to do together?**
Chef said, “We’ve taken our kids to play together, but there’s not a whole lot of time.” Eisenberg added, “We spend a lot of time together when we have free time in school. Hanging out and just sharing a meal is really quite nice to do.”

**Ms. Boubel and Ms. Mahony**
**What would you say is special or unique about your friendship?**
Boubel said, “We maintain our friendship throughout hardship or conflict. We both love the same things, but are also constantly introducing the other person to new skills or hobbies.” Mahony added, “We help each other try new things and grow. I love the music Lauren introduces me to, and she’s always up for either playing games or getting work done, depending on the day. Our friendship feels easy and comfortable, but also really supportive.”
**What do you admire most about the other person?**
Boubel said, “Mahony is one of the toughest people I have ever met, but also the most kind and empathetic person I’ve ever met. She holds boundaries in a loving way, and everything she does, she does with her whole heart. Anyone that is her friend will feel cared for and comforted all the time.” Mahony said, “I admire how creative and thoughtful Lauren is. She cares a lot about what she does and about the people around her. She’s kind, strong and always shows up as herself.”
**What is a hobby you share or something that you do together?**
Boubel said, “We are amazing at the game *Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes*, where one person has to deactivate a virtual bomb while the other uses a manual to help them. We also love to craft together and are great at ‘doubling,’ where both of us work on different things in the same environment.” Mahony added, “We like working side by side, whether we’re crafting, grading or planning. We usually have music playing while we work. We also play cribbage together, and even though Lauren usually wins, it’s still one of my favorite things to do with her.”
