What is your name, pronouns and your position at Lincoln? 

“My name is Dat Ho, my pronouns are he/him and I am a counselor.”

Can you tell me a bit more about yourself and your background/what you did before Lincoln?

“Last year I was at Roosevelt High School, and this year I’m just starting half-time as a school counselor.”

What drove you to become a counselor? 

“I just want to help people. I was a mentor [before becoming a counselor] and I would help [students] a lot. They inspired me to become a counselor.”

What made you want to come to Lincoln?

“Last year at Roosevelt, there were budget cuts, and I saw an opening for Lincoln, so I just applied for it. That is why I came to Lincoln.” 

What are some of your favorite pastimes?

“I like to play pickleball, play soccer and play tennis. Those three I usually play [during] the week.”

What are you most looking forward to this year? 

“Getting to know all of my students and learn something more about the culture in the school.”
