XC teams place 2nd, 4th at PIL districts

The girls’ XC team took 2nd at districts earlier today while the boys’ took 4th. Junior Kyla Becker ran the fastest time in the PIL at 18:00, while sophomore Maddie Dolich took 8th at 19:06 and senior Ellie Kobak placed 9th at 19:08. On the boys’ side, junior Jalen Javurek overcame an injury to finish 10th at 16:13. Both teams will compete in the state championships on Nov. 4 at Lane Community College in Eugene.
