Students are nominated by Principal Peyton Chapman and others for taking leadership roles, being involved in organizations at Lincoln, showing outstanding growth or surviving a hard experience.

“They have all been involved in a variety of activities and service learning over the last four years,” Chapman says.

Each student is invited to speak to the Pearl Rotary on a topic of their choice. The speech “helps the Rotarians get a better sense of the diversity of interests and experiences Lincoln students bring to any conversation,” Chapman says.
