Lincoln students filled the Crystal Ballroom May 6 for an evening of dancing at this year’s Prom.

Even through this strange and unorthodox year, students say the choir program has still been going strong. They’ve held multiple online events including the LHS Music-a-thon which you can find on YouTube. The singers and musicians in these classes have had to struggle through the difficulty of online learning, but still found ways to perform virtually.

Giovanna Bocanegra is Puerto Rican. She has worked as a social worker for two years. “I love how family oriented Puerto Rican culture is,” she says. She also loves the spices, smells, flavors and cooking methods that are used in Puerto Rican food. Bocanegra enjoys traveling, cooling, daily walks with her dog and the ocean.
