Lincoln hosted a evening of seminars discussing various topics surrounding race on April 6. Over 100 students, family members, teachers, and district leaders attended.

The Critical Race Studies class, led by teacher and Equity Specialist Jessica Mallare-Best, organized the rst “Race Talks” Exhibition Night in Lincoln’s history. The talks were meant to “empower students to stand and facilitate courageous conversations around race and the role of whiteness in a predominantly white state, city and school,” principal Peyton Chapman said in a statement.
