The Lincoln speech and debate team won the 6A state championship Saturday at Western Oregon University in Monmouth, Oregon. Lincoln scored 95 points, beating out the second place team by large margin, Cleveland with 52 points. It was the Cardinals’ first championship in 32 years, according to coach Jennifer Owen.
