Competition for daily planner cover underway

Cardinal spirit and student artwork will appear on the cover of every daily planner next year, chosen from a planner photo competition. Students can enter by submitting an original photo and their contact information to Room 104.

Once the photos are submitted, a panel of of teachers, students, and faculty will vote for their choice. Entry deadline for the competition is April 23.

“Over the years we have selected a photo that highlights an event from that year,” Cherie Kinnersley, administrative vice principal, said. “This year I wanted to have students have a more active role in the process, she said. “I would like it to represent Lincoln, the FLOCK, and the unique school we have. I’m particularly looking for photos that most students can identify with.”

Every student will see the photo next year. “I’m excited to see the new agenda art,” Abagail Barton, freshman, said. “I use my agenda daily, so it’s important because I’ll see it every day.”

Since students are more involved with the planner photo this year, they will not only have the opportunity to submit their photos, but some are also a part of selecting the winner, Kinnersley said.
