Percussion ensemble and band members gave an impromptu performance at lunch on the last day before winter break Dec. 19. Songs included “Angels We Have Heard On High,” “Noel,” and “Carol of Bells.”

“This is our first time doing this,” senior Christina Flores said. The percussion ensemble will perform in the winter concert over winter break. “We started rehearsing this week, but we got the idea two weeks ago,” senior Penn Armstrong said.

“Our one rehearsal was yesterday at FLEX, but only about half of the musicians showed up.” Despite the abruptness of the event, students crowded the halls to hear the two groups perform.
