Varsity girls soccer lost 4-3 to the Sunset Apollos in the quarterfinals of state playoffs Nov. 8. Seniors Morgan Matthews, Mareka Tsongas, and Maddie Ehl scored the goals.
“This has been the best season of Lincoln soccer I’ve ever played. The team had such good chemistry and we all wanted it so much,” Gabby Beard, team captain and goalkeeper, said.
The team had its most student support of the season as over 50 spectators travelled to Sunset to support the team in its last game.
