Varsity volleyball falls to Roosevelt, faces Grant
The varsity volleyball team couldn’t pull it off against Roosevelt, losing 3-0 Oct. 16. “We just had an off game,” said sophomore Haley Schulberg. “Roosevelt (7-8) is scrappy, and we played their game, not ours.” Lincoln, third in the PIL rankings, beat fifth-place Roosevelt in their previous matchup. The Cards now move to 10-4. Senior Nikki Nelson was consistent with her kills but it wasn’t enough. Lincoln’s next game will be at home against fourth-place Grant (10-5) Oct. 21 at 6:30 p.m.
