Why are you running for Rose princess?

I’m running for Rose princess because there are so many opportunities that you are provided with, especially networking opportunities. You get partnered with a mentor, which would be really interesting. Also you get to meet so many new people. Plus it’s just a great experience, and I’ve heard it’s supposed to be the best part of your life.

What does the Rose Festival mean to you?

It means an opportunity for me to be a role model for people in Oregon. When I was younger, I looked up to all the Rose princesses, and loved watching them in the festival. I want to be a role model.
