The Health Action Network hosted a meeting entitled Courageous Conversations about Marijuana on Feb. 5. It focused  on the topic  “What You and Your Friends Need to Know Now.”

Principal Peyton Chapman spoke on the negative effects marijuana has on teenage brains, bodies, future employment, and school records. Other speakers included Dr. Anita Cservenka, Lincoln parent Annie Mersereau, Vice Principal Cherie Kinnersley, PPB officer Darke Hull, and health teacher Dr. Timm Goldhammer.
