PPS Schools will continue online learning until at least Jan. 28, Superintendent says

PPS Superintendent Guadalupe Guerrero said Tuesday night that Portland Public Schools will continue to be taught virtually until at least Jan 28, Teresa Carson of the Portland Tribune reported.
The district is trying to plan “limited athletic opportunities” for students, however. While they don’t have a specific timeline, PPS’ chief of student support services said that PPS is planning for “outdoor, masked and socially distanced strength and fitness training at the high school level.”
However, the district is not planning on holding regular sports practices.
