Spring athletics are in full swing, with track, lacrosse, tennis, golf, softball, baseball and Speech and Debate all posting strong results.

Golf:

State Tournament – May 15-16 @ Quail Valley Golf Course

Tennis:

Both the girls and guys tennis teams are coming off great season a year ago. The girls took 2nd in state last year, while the guys took third. This year both teams are looking to do even better as they begin league play in the PIL.

District Tournament (Portland Tennis Center) May 4-5 (Thursday-Friday)

State Tournament (Tualatin Hills) May 18-20 (Thursday-Friday)

Track and Field:

The Lincoln track and field team recently competed in the Nike Cross Relays in Eugene at historic Hayward field where they did very well. Sophomores Kendall Accetta and Andre Gonzales were some of the runners to participate.

Baseball:

The Lincoln baseball team opened the season with a tournament in California and are now beginning play against PIL teams. Lincoln is ranked one of the top baseball teams in the state with many team members getting scholarships to college next year such as Gabe Skoro, Brandon Leitgeb and Baxter Halligan.

Softball:

The Lincoln softball team is looking to make another run this year in winning the PIL. The team is lead by senior and UTEP commit Brianna Hill. The team has begun PIL play.

Boys lacrosse:

The Lincoln boys lacrosse team is looking to make another deep run into the playoffs this year. Carried by a young core, they will be a darkhorse pick to take home the state championship. Boys lacrosse will be a team to watch next year as they are returning all but two Seniors.

Girls lacrosse:

Girls lacrosse is looking to make it back into the championship bracket of the state tournament this year. As star Junior Ellie Kruse begins to get her legs back after injury they will be a team to watch out for.
