Dylan Jones’ victory in the 126-lb. weight class helped pace the wrestling team to a second-place finish in the annual Gladstone High School Tournament Dec. 13.

Lincoln wrestlers racked up 112.5 points, behind tournament winner Gladstone with 200 points. Seven schools were in the competition.

Placing for the Cardinals were:

106 lbs. Trynadii Rocha – 3rd place

113 lbs. Hunter Scheer – 4th place

132 lbs. Jake Poole – 2nd place

138 lbs. Nicholas Hoffman – 2nd place

145 lbs. Brendan McNally – 4th place

152 lbs. Ben Hoffman – 4th place

160 lbs. Gage Halverson – 3rd place

170 lbs. Will Duffy – 3rd place

220 lbs.  Adam Lawrence – 4th place

Lincoln will host a novice meet for freshmen Dec. 17, and the team will compete in a tournament at Milwaukie High School Dec. 19, starting at 4 p.m.
