This video is the first in a series of highlights on hiking trails near Lincoln.

Firelane 3 is accessed by going to the intersection of N.W. Skyline Blvd. and N.W. Thunder Crest Drive and turning right onto Thunder Crest. In roughly 200 yards, there will be a parking space and gate on the right side of the road, which is the trail access. Intersecting with the Wildwood Trail and finishing at the Leif Erickson trail, Firelane 3 makes for an hour-long round-trip hike, medium difficulty.

The hike provides beautiful vistas of the forest and city in the distance. Take note that the trail is muddy during the winter and has some steep downhills.
