Jazz Groups Perform at Jimmy Mak’s
Music director Aaron Barnes leads the jazz band at Arts Beat May 30. Various jazz groups will be performing at Jimmy Mak’s June 3.
The music of Radiohead and Phil Collins coupled with classics by Duke Ellington, Dizzy Gillespie and other jazz greats will be played by Lincoln musicians at Jimmy Mak’s club June 3.
Performances by the jazz combo will begin at 5:30 p.m., followed by the jazz ensemble at 6:30 p.m. The Mel Brown Septet will play at 8 p.m.
Cover charge is $6, and proceeds will be split between the restaurant and Lincoln’s music program.
Minors welcome until 9:30 p.m.
